Poetry Workshop Class 2

Today, we had the amazing Word Guerrilla, Dave Bowden, come into school to run a poetry workshop with class 2 and 3. After a very exciting school assembly, Dave took our class and other children from local school, Mere Brow, through the ways in which we can construct a poem. He showed us how to rhyme and how to write the best words together. The most important thing Dave taught us is that poetry is fun! Thank you, Dave. Some of our children will go on to read their poems at the final poetry competition in July.
