Planting our seeds in english

Our new book is called the little seed by Eric Carle. To start the topic we planted our own seeds and talked about what a seed needs to grow into a plant. We can't wait to watch them grow.

We also spent time identifying different seeds and trying to work out what they might be and matching them up to their plant. We loved exploring them using the magnifying glass and we were really surprised at the plants or flowers the seeds would become.
