In our continuous provision we have been exploring making it rain in the water tray outside and have been using our scientific vocabulary like water droplets. This week in our science, we have been learning about snow. We know when it is cold the water droplets freeze and turn to snowflakes. We were fascinated by the close up photos of different snowflakes. We also learned that when it is warm the snow melts and leaves our snowmen as a puddle in the garden. We then made some play snow with Mr Duckworth from bicarbonate of soda and shaving foam.
