Class 2 Visit from the Firefighters

We had a very exciting visit from the firefighters, learning all about Fire Safety.

They were taught about what firefighters do and how their jobs are not just putting out fires. They explored the 'Stop, Drop and Roll' method for if they are on fire and what to do if they find themselves in a fire emergency.

They acted out their own Fire Plan and answered questions about what they should do in an emergency fire situation.

This was a really lovely, educational visit and the Class 2 children have been tasked with finding their fire alarms at home and check they are working.
