Class 2 Solar Ovens Science

In our science lessons, we are thinking about working scientifically. In our last lesson, we thought about what a control oven would have and then decided as a group which variables to change. We decided to change the tin foil, add a tin foil bowl, ad have one wrapped in cling film. We tested the temperature in 2 minute intervals to see if the temperature rose and also observed to see if the chocolate melted. The hottest oven was the cling film oven, however, the chocolate melted faster in the tin foil bowl.
