Bretherton blast into space with Artemis 2!

Date: 1st Apr 2026 @ 9:57am

Tonight sees the launch of NASA's Artemis 2, the first flight to take astronauts around the Moon in more than 50 years. It is a flight test supporting future missions to the Moon itself, with the hope that humans will touch the lunar surface again in 2028. Bretherton Primary School will be joining the flight, with our name added to a database of schools which will accompany the mission. Eyes to the skies (or the telly) for the launch in Florida today at 11.24pm GMT.
