Arts Council visit Bishop Rawstorne

Bishop Rawstorne kindly welcomed Arts Council to attend two Year 7 Art lessons this week. We firstly participated in a textiles lesson with Miss Elliott, where we used sewing machines and fabrics to create a patch linked to their endangered animals theme. We then moved to Mrs Armitage's class where we explored mark making using drawing ink with a view to creating an underwater scene. A huge thank you to the wonderful pupils at Bishops who were so welcoming and to the staff who went out of their way to demonstrate the quality of art provision at high school.
