Arts Council visit Banksy Manchester: A Genius Mind

Arts Council had a fantastic trip to Depot in Mayfield today to visit the Banksy exhibition. We saw a number of famous works, including the shredded 'Girl with Balloon' and 'Show me the Monet.' Banksy's political statements and criticisms of societal inequalities provoked conversation and curiosity. We also recognised a variety of other artists referenced in his work,  including Jean Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. An amazing morning!
