Science Festival at UCLAN

Class 4 made the most of our trip to UCLAN's science fair and represented themselves and Bretherton Primary impeccably.

We learned about the maths and programming behind the Disney and Pixar movies, about the maths and physics of theme parks and rollercoasters and explored different STEM related experiments and activities.  

On the science floor we solved puzzles, made star maps, built the highest and sturdiest towers with shapes then became forensic anthropologists to solve crimes and investigated finds from digs the length of the U.K. amongst many other things.
