Fire visit Class 2

Today, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service came to see our class. We learnt not to play with matches, how to stop drop and roll, and all about home fire plans. Some of our children acted as firefighters and rescued some of their friends from a fire at their home. Our children know to check the door handle with the back of their hand, to crawl to keep away from the smoke and to call 999 and ask for the fire department.
