Fire Safety talk with year two

Date: 29th Nov 2018 @ 10:43am

Year two were fortunate to have a visit from the firefighters today to talk about fire safety. They learnt how to stay safe in a fire and how to react if they were unfortunate to have a fire in their house. The firemen discussed what would help them in a fire and showed the children the smoke detectors. They were told that the fire service can fit the smoke alarms for free in houses that have not got one already.

Children learnt about the dangers of matches with ‘Francis the Firefly’. They understood the dangers they posed. The year two children have information to share with you at home.
