Design and Technology - Carousels

Class 4 have been learning about gears and pulleys while also revisiting their knowledge of electrical circuits.  Looking at our favourite fairground rides, those we love and those we love to hate, we decided to make our own mini merry-go-rounds.

Working in groups the team chose their own theme, tested and explored materials so they could then use this knowledge when they moved onto creating their own working models and finally followed their themed designs.  We hope you enjoy looking at our results and discussing their journey with your child(ren).
