Welcome back to our Summer Term, by Alison Moxham
Date: 18th Apr 2021 @ 10:57am
Welcome back to our summer term! We hope that you have all managed some lovely family time over the Easter break and we can see that the children are bouncing with joy to be back ( teachers too). We really hope that this term we are all in for the whole time and so we will cautiously pursue our own roadmap out of some of the Covid restrictions in line with what is happening in the world outside our school. However, just for the moment, we are continuing with the same risk assessment and so need to ask you to please continue to socially distance whilst on the school site and if possible to wear your mask. If we continue with our sensible approach, I am hoping that we will be able to reintroduce some of the normal and familiar activities usually enjoyed during this term. We will keep you regularly updated on any date changes to our blue parent calendar if we need to and let you know of any new events planned in as we make plans based upon what we are able to do safely.

WI Bretherton treasure hunt, by Mrs Moxham
Date: 29th Oct 2020 @ 8:25pm
There will be a treasure hunt trail around the village available during half term week for the children to do for fun. Parents can collect a map and list of clues from outside 60 South Road, and then follow it round in their own time. There will be a box for completed entries and a little treat bag back at the same address at the end.
We are also encouraging our members to put an autumn display in their gardens or windows, which could be pumpkins, leaf pictures, flowers, anything really, just to brighten up the village.
