If Bear Grylls taught a maths lesson I’m sure it would resemble this....
Our intrepid Year 1 mathematicians, demonstrated their understanding of two dimensional shapes and their properties by scouring our field and woodland area for natural materials. The children created a range of shapes, from perfect pentagons to terrific triangles.
They showed great team work and mathematical knowledge throughout the session.
Well done, Year 1.
