The Torah covers the origins about the beginning of Judaism, rules of the festivals and how to behave to your fellow man. There are many moral stories. 

A synagogue is where they worship. It contains scrolls, curtains protect the scrolls and there is a raised place where the worship is conducted. Mostly men conducting service although some women are being used. They have a permanent light to signify that God's light never goes out. 

In some, the women sit upstairs and men downstairs. 

Rights of passage

Bar mitzvah for boys aged 13 and Bat mitzvah for girls ages 12. 

- boy, classed at responsible adult. Prayer clothing. Keppa head covering. Sign of respect, above us is holiness. Tallit is a prayer shawl with fringes on the corner. Bible says fringes are to remind you of the laws and rules of the bible. 7 is an important in the prayer boxes. They are worn in a very special way and contain a tiny scroll of scripture that helps them live their lives. By adding it to the prayer boxes on their head and near their heart means that it becomes a part of themselves. It also says to write on door post of your house. So they believe they have fulfilled commandments on the scroll. 

Difference, the boys aged 13 read from the scroll, the girl at 12 prepares a lesson for the community. 

The bride would  walks around the bridegroom 7 times, the rabbi reads 7 blessings. Behold you are consecrated to me according to the laws of Israel. 

He stamps on glass and this represents the Jewish temple being destroyed and this reminds us of something sad. Even in happiest moment, people may be feeling sadness. Marriage contract, Hebrew and English on reverse. They number years differently.
