Our bodies

Date: 5th Nov 2018 @ 1:35pm

To start our topic about keeping fit, the year two children decided to see what they knew about their bodies. How many bones did they have? Where were they? Which parts of our body were soft and squidgy and which felt like bone when we pressed? Many of us found our ribs with a lot of debate whether there were bones in our heads or we only had our brains in our head.  We drew round each other’s body and began to label the parts we knew. We will be looking at the different  bodies are made up of later on e.g. tissue, muscle, bones and cartilage.
