Class 2 Design Technology Making Instruments

Today, the children have had a great afternoon creating their own guitars. We decorated them and then they had to cut a circle out using scissors. The children then used elastic bands to create the strings. Some children realised that the body of their guitar bent if their elastic was too tight, so they reinforced their boxes to make them stronger. 
The children were really creative! We finished the lesson by playing along to one of our rock songs from our music curriculum that we are studying.
